Despite an upset loss to TheMongolz, the Renegades survived the Group B elimination match against Eat You Alive, winning de_cache 16-7, and are the final team to make the Asia Minor playoffs.

A de_cache thriller at the Asia Minor which TheMongolz won over Renegades meant that the heavily favoured Australian team, currently ranked 19th in the world in our Global Ranking, had to return to the Group B elimination match against local Taiwanese team Eat You Alive.

With Ying-Tsang "⁠EygisK⁠" Huang and his teammates snatching the pistolround and the first gunround, it began to look like Renegades were in deep trouble; however, with Aaron "⁠AZR⁠" Ward at the helm, the Australians began to gain advantage in the game and only allowed Eat You Alive one more T-sided round to finish the half up 9-6.

AZR came alive for Renegades

On their own T-side, Renegades generally ran over the lesser experienced Taiwanese team and closed out the map 16-7, thus becoming the final team to advance to the playoffs of the Asia Minor.
